Everything went great, people loved the music and was all dancing.

Starlight DJ was absolutely awesome. Nothing was to hard. Communication and dealing with Lawrence was easy. The DJ was so accommodating. He played what we asked for and nothing was to hard for him. We had around 50+ guests and the feedback on the night was nothing but positive. The lighting, smoke machine and music was so good. We prepared a list of music we wanted played and was also given a master list to choose from. DJ played everything we asked for and more. Thank you once again for a fantastic night and will defiantly be using starlight DJ again.

Thanks again for Saturday. Yes, the day went perfectly, even more than I could have hoped for! The music was great, our additional 'Game of Thrones' vows was a hit too (no thanks to my laughing). MC and my Dad got it all spot on though - haha. Like I said - It was a perfect day regardless!

Music was great and we enjoyed the mix you played. One bit of feedback not from me but from some guests was they thought you were pretty quiet for a DJ but the music is the main thing not the commentary in my eyes. You charge a very reasonable rate for the great quality of music you played so from me I'd like to personally thankyou for making my 40th a great atmosphere.

You did really well so all good from our end and thank you.

Thanks for your service last night. The music was great, the addition of music video was a bonus ! the vibe was great and we loved your set up! Just one thing to note, when we all started dancing, after 9pm or so, each song is a little too long, if you can cut it short and skip to the next one instead of playing the whole song But overall, we would definitely book with you again, we do these workshops in melbourne every 2 years, we will book with you again. Thanks !

I just want to say that we were sooo impressed and happy with DJ's work last Friday! The bday boy and girl gave me some interesting music choices to pass on to Tony - but he was extremely flexible - and he had such a wide range of music. He was happy to take lots of requests - and he had our small little party up and moving and jumping around all night. He also offered to play some Maltese music when he found out our nationality. Such a lovely guy - very professional and friendly and he even helped with a bit of Mc work!! I know we were all really happy with how the night went - and I will definitely be keeping you guys in mind for our next party - or referrals to friends and family. We had DJ for our wedding reception last night. Just letting you know that he did a great job, a real professional. He knows his music and what works for the room. He spoke to us early in the night to confirm things and he was always there during the night if needed. The dance floor was full all night.

The formal went great and after the formal I got feedback from everyone saying they enjoyed it. In regards to feedback you did a great job as being the dj and you kept the dance floor alive the entire time which I loved. But other than that you played mainstream songs which meant most people were on the dance floor which was great. Also I would recommend you as a dj to anyone because really providing all the equipment for the band with no extra charge and being as good as you were was something I’m thankful for. Lawrence you did a great job as our dj and I’m glad I managed to get you for our formal:)

DJ was incredible. The music was perfect for an 18th birthday, for the entire night there were always people on the dance floor. I was extremely happy with what DJ provided for my 18th, with many people asking me afterward who I hired as the DJ as well as complimenting the tunes throughout the night. It was great, I would have a bit more of play list played .

We were very disappointed. Upon arriving at our place the DJ said he needed a table to set his gear up on. No one had told us we had to provide a table. His song choices were poor and when a guest showed him a song list on their phone as an example of the music we like, he borrowed the phone, plugged it into his system and proceeded to play our guests playlist. He was on his own phone most of the night while the music was playing including making FaceTime calls. It was not a good experience at all.

Lawrence DJ'd at our wedding on Saturday and we are so happy with his professionalism and service. We barely got to speak to him the whole night as we were so busy, but he ran everything so smoothly and didn't need any guidance, it was one thing we didn't need to worry about and we loved it! DJ Lawrence was fantastic! Communication was super easy, he was on time & had everything set-up & helped out with extra cables for our slide show & coordinating for speeches etc. it was also really affordable & he played the exact kind of music that we like. I would definitely hire him again!

The DJ supplied didn't listen to feedback on the night so we were left disappointed, when asked to change music genre he refused, leaving the dancefloor empty for extended periods of time. Also at the commencement he said he would play back ground music which in fact was horrible elevator type, however after over an hour of this type of background music i asked him to change he refused. not a happy client!

I thought it was going to be boring night with all my friends requesting RnB a lot, but in saying that we had more songs that we know of when we were growing up. We had such a great night and had compliments from friends for your music selection. Thanks so much for your professionalism it was so nice that it was completely stress free right from booking to the end of the night. We were a little disappointed that everyone didn't get up dancing a bit earlier but it was just too hot in there! Apparently the aircon wasn't working properly which was a shame. Good thing it cooled down a little towards the end there and everyone came inside for a dance with us. Yes the wedding turned out to be a great night and we were very fortunate to have such a cracking DJ on the night that was able to read the mood of the crowd and play the right music at the right time. Just a shame the venue had to close at 12.00 because I think we could have all kept going until early hours of the morning.

He just made our wedding amazing, kept people on the dance floor all night. we have been to couple of wedding ourselves and everytime the dj sucked and we thought to ourselves here we go again. Starlight DJ performed at my daughter's 12th birthday party and he was absolutely wonderful. The kids had a fantastic time, dancing pretty much all night, only taking a break to eat and sing for the cake. He was accommodating to all types of music, but changed it up if he felt he needed to, to keep the kids dancing. Thank you so much for a making the night fantastic.

The only negative comment I have is that we were told to take the song list with us on the night but the DJ said we should have emailed it to him instead. So we missed out on a lot of songs that we had selected and wanted to play. But the DJ did a great job anyway and still played great music with some of our songs thrown in the mix!

We loved the way our wedding uplights were setup, we had a great time. Time and money worth spending on good quality service. Even though we were late we still managed to finish it on time.

This was the second time we used Starlight DJ for our function and as always professional, on time and easy to deal with. I was having a lengthy conversation with the DJ and we agreed upon somethings. First not all gigs are same we had lots of guests who didn't feel like dancing but dj kept on churning good tunes, jackson, george and top 40's. I realised until the host do something about it party's not gonna lit up, so few us started dancing and boom just like that everyone was pinned on the dance floor for 3 hours straight. second of all mixing is overrated it's not a club it's a xmas party supposed to be fun not load and how do u go about mixing two entirely different songs just not good. I like my music to start and finish in full not cut in half. Third dj showed me comment from on e of the customers that playing from ipod is good, u must be naive & stupid enough to think that. Kids do that and they should rethink about fun & party. with experience come fun & good times and they know the best way to make us know. Booking them again for next year for better and bigger fun.
